Our dear friend and one of Dogwood's original members, Luke Spink was in a serious accident this August, resulting in a broken spine, arm and hand, along with a concussion and various other injuries. He was immediately rushed into spinal surgery and awoke to a loss of function from the waist down. Luke was diagnosed with Subacute Post-Traumatic Ascending Myelopathy (SPAM). This neurological complication has caused swelling in his back, increasing his paralysis since the accident. 

Luke is an avid golfer, adventurer and outdoorsman. Most importantly, he's a devoted father to two little ones- Lottie (2.5) and Oscar (1), and a loving husband to his wife, Emma. He has one of the kindest hearts, enviable energy and an infectious enthusiasm for life that we have been so grateful to know through the years. 

Starting Thursday, December 15th we'll have "Luke's Lager" on tap at Dogwood for purchase. And 100% of proceeds will directly benefit Luke, Emma, Lottie and Oscar as we assist with medical care, travel, rehabilitation and accompanying childcare and necessary home modification expenses.
